Rainbow Care Group - Specialist Day Care

The Rainbow Care Group provides specialist dementia day care designed to help people living with dementia continue to enjoy life, stay active and remain connected with others. Their Sutton Coldfield service is part of a wider network of dementia day care clubs across the UK.

The clubs provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment, with activities planned around the interests and abilities of each individual. Activities can include reminiscence, quizzes, music, games, gentle exercise, crafts and outings, helping to promote independence, social interaction and mental stimulation.

For families and carers, the service can also provide valuable respite, giving carers some time to themselves while knowing their loved one is being supported in a specialist dementia setting.

The Rainbow Care Group offers free taster days, allowing families to experience the service and see whether it is right for them before making a commitment.

Streetly Dementia Support are proud to introduce Hub Care Support, Sutton Coldfield. We’re looking forward to exploring how we can work together to support people living with dementia and their families in our community.

Hub Care Support offers a more personal approach to dementia support, helping families find an independent Personal Support Assistant who is matched to their loved one’s individual needs, personality and routines.

For someone living with dementia, having familiar and consistent support can be so important. Support can include:
